Generative living rooms

In the assignment “Generative landscapes,” I decided to dive into generative rooms, picked from a set of vector drawing of chairs, tables, lamps and more a P5JS script generates the images.
Unfamiliar with colour theory and struggling to create a nice look I decided to dive into the subject, finally creating the super vibrant, generative colour palette.
“The final work, a collection containing hundreds of generations, talks about the standardisation of our homes and the personal context and meaning of a room for its inhabitants, is ultimately what gives a space its colour, even if it looks grey from a distance.”
