The megamachine is a term describing the system inadvertently created by when a leader coordinates a group of people resulting in an output far greater then the individual can produce. Mega referring to the scale of this system.

This growth however comes at the cost of Earth, which the current mega-est megamachines envelope. Our urge to achieve greater goals not going hand in hand with preserving Earth’s ecosphere, it currently reaching the point of rapidly, possibly irreversibly, changing said ecosphere and heavily impacting our way of live as a species.
